Established and run by the harpsichordist Masumi Yamamoto, "South London Harpsichord Academy" is a YouTube Channel that is passionate about promoting the harpsichord and related plucked keyboard instruments (i.e. the spinet and virginals) to curious musicians out there, and uploads videos of some Baroque pieces that are currently included in ABRSM and other piano exam syllabuses, and more!
We aim to provide an one-stop place for those curious pianists who want to hear their Baroque pieces on the instrument that they were originally written for.
